About The Daly Dog
A typical day with the pack will start with pick up from your home between 9am - 10am and end with drop off between 2pm - 3pm. The day will include 1-2 pack hikes where I reinforce basic obedience, leash manners, and healthy socializing. Pack adventures are Monday through Friday. Dogs thrive with structure and routine, because of this I require a minimum commitment of at least two days a week to maintain consistency.
Pack daycare is $50 per day
Before your dog joins the pack I will work one on one with them to build a personal relationship. We will work on basic obedience to develop communication and build mutual trust and respect. Once I have gained your dogs trust and created a healthy relationship, I will invite them to join the pack. I believe putting in the work up front leads to more harmonious interactions for your dog individually and with the pack as a whole. Your dogs safety is my biggest priority.
All dogs must be on flea/tick prevention and up to date on vaccinations.
On extreme weather days I will adjust our schedule accordingly.

My name is Nicole Daly and my passion is dogs! I am new to the Chico area, but have spent the last six years running a successful dog walking business in San Francisco. Deciding to leave my pack in San Francisco was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, but I am excited and grateful to have the opportunity to offer my services in Chico. With family and close loved ones nearby, Chico already feels like home and I am eager to start building my pack here.
I have always had a close connection to animals, their behavior and the joy they bring to us humans, enriching our lives in so many ways. In working to support the mental and physical well-being of our canine companions, I have learned that our animals have just as much to teach us as we do them. Dogs have taught me to have a deep awareness of the ways in which our energy affects those around us. I’ve learned to view everything with empathy and curiosity to better understand what they need from me to guide them best. Each dog has taught me something new, provided me with a new challenge and led me to gain a deeper desire to understand and help each animal and human that crosses my path. I am committed to understanding each individual dog’s behavioral patterns and fulfilling their instinctual needs. I operate on dog time and strive to stay present and connected, harboring happy and healthy relationships with dogs and their owners. My greatest hope is to give back to dogs a fraction of what they have given me, they deserve it.

I completed a “Learn to Lead” workshop with internationally recognized K-9 behavioral specialist, Cheri Wulff Lucas. This workshop explored in depth how to properly assess a dog’s behavior and implement successful techniques and strategies to understand a dog’s behavior and how to correct certain behaviors when necessary. As Cheri teaches, having a healthy relationship dynamic with your dog is critical for understanding their behavior and harboring a harmonious relationship.

I completed three “Student of the Dog” workshops with Oregon Tails. In this I learned the Jentle Method™ which consists of 11 exercises using a slip lead / slip-lead noseband. The Jentle Method™ is designed to bring human and dog closer through feeling, skill and connection.

I have completed a 20 hour training course, covering dog learning, training, communication, and aggression. As well as dog fight protocol, and pack management.

I have completed a Pet Tech First Aid and CPR course, covering emergency care, rescue breathing, CPR, chocking management, bleeding protocols, fractures, poisoning, burns, frostbite, seizures, assessing vitals, administering medications, and dental care for pets.

One day while walking our then adolescent dog, Mollie, along a wooded trail in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, I noticed that we were trailing behind a happy pack of canines being led by Nicole. As we continued along the trail, I was very impressed by Nicole's ability to communicate with the dogs and to get them to all work together as a pack. Mollie soon became a member of Nicole's pack where she loved socializing with her fellow pack members and ultimately formed a deep bond with Nicole.

Nicole took amazing care of our dogs for over 6 years! She is compassionate, attentive and capable. Our dogs are a handful, and she both loved them and kept them in line. She is positive, reliable and professional in all situations. Her communication with us was always impeccable and caring. She would always look out for the dogs’ health and well being and check in to make sure they were okay after vet’s visits or issues.
